Are you interested in sharing your work with 2021 WIEA Conference through a presentation or workshop? The conference planning committee is now accepting presentation/workshop proposals. Proposals should reflect this year’s conference theme of Indigenous STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math. Additionally, presentations reflecting Native language, culture, education or topics affecting indigenous people, are relevent and will also be considered.

This year’s conference will be held April 16-18, 2021, at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, WI.
Presenters should understand that submitting a proposal does not guarantee said proposal will be accepted. An accepted proposal does not entitle presenter(s) to any type of payment or reimbursement of travel or expenses. WIEA will not be responsible for reimbursing presenters for any travel or costs associated with their participation at the conference. Presenters should keep in mind that WIEA is a non-profit organization that consists of a volunteer board of directors. The presenter’s participation at the conference is deemed voluntary and no form of compensation will be offered or expected. The presenter acknowledges a tangible and intangible benefit to presenting at the conference. Presenters are expected and required to pay their own registration fee to support the ongoing efforts of WIEA.
